A
quartzite schist from Nilsiä.
Nilsiä Slate has grey, green, brown and reddish shades;
the colours of autumn. Recommended use: Well suited for all
building with special requirements for combined beauty and
durability. Foundations, facades, paving, embankments, indoor
and outdoor cladding, swimming pools, fountain basins, fireplaces,
grills, ovens, underground cellars, steps, landings, garden
furniture, decorative stones, grave stones, etc. 1.2 square
metres of schist should be available per one finished square
metre to guarantee a satisfactory colour and shape design
when using natural stones for building.
