The GDL objects
are intended for use in design programs such as ArchiCad, in which
they work as such. These objects can later be also used in AutoCad
by means of Object Adapter. In case you are an AutoCad user and would
like to be informed of an AutoCad update, please let us know by e-mail.
A summary of the 9 update (11 April 2005):

Finnish and an English version (ArchiCAD9)

A smaller library size 145MB -> 21MB
• Environmental parameters have
been added to the stone cladding and flat paving stone objects
• Certain objects have been grouped
together under one object
• The materials are generated
in the object code
• The user is not obliged to
have 225 different stone materials in their materials menu
• Stone types and surface treatments
have been separated into different menus, which are sorted based
on the material
• All dimensioning parameters
can also be set in the base and the 3D window, not only in the object
window
• All dimensions based on modules
-> when stretched, the dimensions change in accordance with the
selected module dimension and the grid based on that, also possibility
for free stretching
• Stone types can be selected
in the preview image with an enlarged preview image for the selected
treatment
• Also many additional improvements
in the various objects
